what we do

About Us

Since our inception, sustainability has been at the core of everything we do

Our Mission

We want to help put healthier, safer, and smarter products into the homes of conscious consumers worldwide. ConsiderBeyond helps conscious consumers make empowered choices by connecting them with certified conscious brands.

What We Do

We love searching for the latest trends in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, but how can we trust that the products we are buying aren’t destroying the planet? ConsiderBeyond aims to reduce the amount of noise consumers face when shopping for sustainable and conscious brands.

We help brands share their sustainable and ethical practices with conscious consumers globally. From a humble spreadsheet to a global database, Consider Beyond has evolved into a trusted platform for conscious brands and consumers globally.

Our Founder

Sustainability goes beyond demographics, culture and geography. It is where we can connect as part of a global conscious community - Esther Kim, Founder & CEO

ConsiderBeyond was born out of our founder’s love of travel, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. With over 15 years of experience in the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) industry, Esther was advising corporations and investors about sustainability long before it was a global trend.

Through her work in the ESG industry, Esther noticed a surge of consumers that were looking for brands and products that aligned with their ethics and values. At the same time, companies were putting more of their attention on their social and environmental impact. Esther saw an opportunity to help share her knowledge with smaller and medium sized businesses to reach the growing number of conscious consumers and launched ConsiderBeyond in May 2021.

After receiving her BA from Nottingham University, Esther founded an ethical, direct-to-consumer jewelry brand which gave her a unique insight into the conscious retail market. Esther holds an MSc from the London School of Economics in the UK and received the Sustainable Finance professional certification at Columbia University. Esther is currently a mentor for the Plug and Play Sustainability Program in Silicon Valley and founded the Columbia Venture Community's Impact Program.
