Esther Kim
‍‍

For over 14 years, Esther worked in ESG (environmental, social, and governance) data, impact investing, and sustainability management space, advising corporations and the investor community. She started when sustainability was out of the public eye.

After so much time helping the investor community and corporations to integrate sustainability, she realized not much information and tools were available for small and medium companies and consumers. Recognizing her responsibility to deliver better information and convenient tools for rising conscious consumers and brands worldwide, ConsiderBeyond was born in May 2021.

Since she was a child, she grew up in different countries. She traveled to more than 40 countries to date which helped her to be well-versed with diverse cultures and markets. She is a serial entrepreneur. She founded a direct-to-consumer ethical jewelry brand after her bachelor's degree which helped her gain a unique insight into the retail and consumer sector.

She holds a BA from Nottingham University and an MSc from the London School of Economics in the UK. She received the Sustainable Finance professional certification at Columbia University. She is currently a mentor for the Plug and Play Sustainability Program in Silicon Valley.  She also founded the Columbia Venture Community's Impact Program.
